Recognizing that strong schools are essential to strong communities, Canyons School District undertook an ambitious construction and renovation schedule in 2010 that has improved the learning environment for students in all corners of the District. Now, as we complete the 13th and final project, a remodel of Indian Hills Middle, we’re asking the community to consider a $283 million, tax-rate-neutral bond proposal that will allow us to continue the momentum we’ve built. The bond proposal will appear on the Nov. 7 2017 general election ballot. All of the bond money would be used to improve schools and would reach more than half the District, or 27 schools. Six schools would be rebuilt, one new school would be constructed to accommodate growth, and one school would be significantly remodeled. In addition, the bond would pay to remodel front offices at six elementary schools and to install windows and skylights to add natural light to 18 elementary schools. In all, more than 17,000 children would benefit from safe, modernized learning environments. Here's how the money would be spent:

Kindergarten Screening Appointments

Posted in News & Announcements

Every year the Kindergarten teachers like to meet with their new students to assess thier level of understanding to set learning goals. We will be using the Online Scheduler to arrange these screening appointments held August 23-25, 2017. This will provide a greater flexibility in scheduling your appointments with our teachers. Starting Monday, August 14, 2017 and running until midnight on Friday, August 18, 2017, you will have the opportunity to access teachers' calendars and schedule a convenient conference time. If you have not made an appointment by midnight on Friday, August 18th, teachers will pick a time for you and notify you by phone or email just prior to the screening dates.

If you do not have Internet access at home or work, you may access the Internet via the computers at your local library. You may contact the school if you need any additional assistance scheduling appointments.

Please see the instruction letter below. The Online Scheduler link can only be accessed on a computer and not on a phone.
