Canyons District requires an approved VOLUNTEER APPLICATION every new school year.
A VOLUNTEER is any adult 18 and older:
Presenting to students or interacting with students
(Classrooms, Parties, Recess, PTA Activities, Field Trips, Career Day, etc.)
A VISITOR is any adult 18 and older:
Dining with their student in the cafeteria
Only observing a schoolwide event, restricted to that location
(Parent-Teacher Conferences, Principal’s Pride, Halloween Parade, etc.)
All visitors and volunteers must check in through the main office and visibly wear the volunteer or visitor sticker.
When visiting or volunteering, you have a responsibility to keep student information confidential.
