Began meeting at 3:58 p.m. Lara Liu welcomed SCC members.- Introduction of members and new members, any changes to member list and contact information
- Meeting Agenda: Organize school council/vote on positions
- Training dates for SCC members, monthly meeting dates
- Review budget expenditures for Cell Tower funds

- The Chair will send out monthly agenda and run meetings. Ryan Zimmerman moved to keep Lara Liu as SCC Chair. Jennifer Willie seconded the motion.
Council voted for: 8, against: 0 - The Vice Chair will run meetings in absence of the Chair. Motion to nominate Maya Murphy as Vice Chair (Maya Murphy volunteered), seconded by Lara Liu.
Council voted for: 8, against: 0 - The Scribe will take detailed notes (minutes) to be posted on the SCC site. Julie Schow will remain the scribe. Lorie Langeland motioned and Jennifer Willie seconded the motion.

- Monthly Meetings
- Review requirements for meetings (Open and Public Meetings Act) – notice of meetings, keeping minutes and recordings, agendas and voting.
- Monthly meetings will be held the second Monday of each month at 3:55 p.m. in the PLC room.
- Meeting norms – be on time so we can stay within the hour time frame. Let us know if you are unable to attend because we will need to have a quorum on when we vote. Feel free to ask questions and also stay on topic.

- Review and Vote on Cell Tower Budget
- Cell tower budget is $7,000 and is based on school enrollment.
- Principal DeMill proposed the funds be used for teacher appreciation, thank yous, and student incentives/prizes.
- Council requested a budget update of the cell tower funds in January. Motion to approve cell tower budget by Lorie Langeland. Jennifer Willie seconded the motion.
