Enrollment is now open for the 2026-2027 school year.
Who Needs to Enroll?
- Kindergarten Students (see kindergarten information below)
- New Students to Lone Peak (including those accepted on permit or into dual immersion)
- If you live outside Lone Peak boundaries, do not complete the enrollment application until your student has been accepted on permit or into dual immersion.
Students transferring from another Canyons District school do not need to submit an enrollment application provided the birth certificate and immunization record are on file. Parents/legal guardians should email lonepeak@canyonsdistrict.org with their student’s name, current school, and attach proof of residency if moving into Lone Peak Elementary boundaries.
Enrollment Instructions
Complete the applicable enrollment application below with the required documents.
- If you have another student in Canyons District, complete the enrollment application (using your Skyward Family Access credentials).
- If you are NEW to Canyons District, create a temporary account first and then complete the enrollment application.
Required Documents
You will need to upload the following required documents with the enrollment application:
- Child’s Birth Certificate
- Immunization Record (electronic copy, not yellow card) OR Utah Immunization Exemption Certificate
- If your student is missing immunizations, please still upload their current record. The school will follow up before the first day of school. Immunizations must be complete within the first 30 days of school or the student will be excluded.
- Proof of Residency (living inside Lone Peak boundaries) or Permit (living outside Lone Peak boundaries)
- Proof of Residency or Permit are not required for students who live outside Lone Peak boundaries and have been accepted into dual immersion.
Once the enrollment application and required documents have been submitted, you will receive a confirmation email within two business days with additional information. If you enroll during summer break (June 1st-July 24th, 2026) you will receive a confirmation email after summer break.
Exceptions for required forms will be made for McKinney-Vento students who are displaced or experiencing homelessness.
Kindergarten
