  1. Welcome and Introductions
  2. Organize School Council/Vote on Positions
    1. Mr. DeMill reviewed description of positions and opened up nominations for the council positions.
      1. SCC Chair: Zac Watne volunteered, seconded by Janae Holland
        Council voted for: 8, against: 0
      2. SCC Vice Chair: Jennifer Willie motioned, seconded by Tracy Ellis
        Council voted for: 8, against:0
      3. SCC Secretary: Tracy Ellis volunteered, seconded by Zac Watne

  3. SCC Training 2025-2026 Dates: 
    1. The council discussed SCC training dates and times for SCC members to attend.
  4. Calendar Meeting Dates for the Year:
    1. The council discussed meeting dates and decided on the second Monday of every month at 3:50 p.m.
      Specific meeting dates as follows:
      1. October 13, 2025
      2. November 10, 2025
      3. December 8, 2025
      4. January 12, 2026
      5. February 9, 2026
      6. March 9, 2026
      7. April 13, 2026

  5. Review Bylaws:
    1. The council reviewed the SCC bylaws.
  6. Review Land Trust Goals for the Year
    1. The council reviewed goals and allocations of Land Trust funds and TSSP funds.
  7. Discuss/Vote on Cell Tower Budget
    1. Mr. DeMill informed the SCC of an allocation of $3,500 from the Cell Tower Budget and asked the board to approve the use of these funds toward teacher appreciation gifts, staff treats for PD, thank you’s, and school assemblies.
    2. Motion to approve by Zac Watne, seconded by Lorie Langeland

  8. CSD Boundary Study
    1. The council discussed possible implications from the proposed boundary changes for the 2026-2027 school year.
