- Introduction and Meeting Agenda
- Motion to approve the October minutes by Brenda Sim, seconded by Lorie Langeland. Council voted for: 8, Voted against: 0
- School Digital and Safety Plan presented by Nicole Gleason, teacher
- CSD internet filters and Content Keeper
- Brain Boosters – STEM has internet safety and digital citizenship lessons for students.
- School-Wide Digital Citizen Week was in October – daily announcements, mini lessons, and class discussions
- Increased teacher supervision and use LanSchool to view each student’s screen
- Does the SCC think this is sufficient? Standard? Anything new? Discussion on Content Keeper by Ms. Stacy – Principal (Admin Access) to anything searched on student devices and any device using students’ login credentials. Allows Admin to notify parents exactly which searches students have made at school or on own device.
- SCC agrees these items are sufficient and Lone Peak will continue with outlined protocols.
- Review Current Plan and Expenditures – Tracy Stacy
- LAND Trust Budget – Art Teacher salary, Teacher Aide salaries, Technology and Textbooks
- TSSP Budget – Counselor salary
- Motion in agreeance of budget funds by Brenda Sim, seconded by Lorie Langeland. Council voted for: 8, Against: 0
- Office of Public Engagement Audit: Bylaws – Brenda Sim
- Changes to SCC Bylaws – Brenda will share the bylaws the UT Admin Code – Standard code number changes
- Article III – Standing Rules Elections to be held in September because that time of year has the highest parent involvement.
- Motion to approve the change in elections in the bylaws to fall by Brenda Sim, seconded by Lorie Langeland. Voted for: 8, Voted against: 0
- Article II.4 – A Quorums Changes? A quorum needs to have three parents and two staff members to 12 to increase community involvement and meet the majority.
- Motion to keep Quorum to 9 members by Lorie Langeland, seconded by Lara Liu. Council voted for: 8, Voted against: 0
- Article III.5 – Meeting Schedule – suggest changing no meeting months June, July, August and December. Discussed it is easier to cancel a meeting than it is to add a meeting. Might have budget or last-minute items come up in December.
- Motion to have No Meeting Months to June, July and August by Brenda Sim, seconded by Lorie Langeland. Voted for: 8, Against: 0
- Topics to add to section 10 (a) TSSP (b) LAND Trust (c) Strike
- Motion to make edits to section 10 re-letter sections by Lorie Langeland, seconded by Lara Liu. Voted for: 8, Against: 0
- Bus Safety Procedures – School Safety Plan: Riding on buses and bus stops
- January – Tracy Stacy to contact Transportation to have buses come for a re-teaching and practice of expectations on the bus to help keep all students safe while riding the bus.
- Bus stop concerns: Cars are not stopping for bus lights at bus stops, creating unsafe conditions for students. Tracy will reach out to school police officer. Brooke will reach out to City Council. Suggest to alert city in SNAP plan.

- Items to bring up for next meeting:
- Digital voting for those who cannot meet in person if there is not enough for a quorum.
- Items that could be voted on, cancel a meeting, add a meeting, approve the minutes. Brenda will work on wording for a list.
- Tracy Stacy stated she can excuse a staff member to keep the parent-to-staff ratio to two or more parents than staff.
