- Review & Finalize Current Land Trust & TSSP Plans
- Proposed Reading Goal: By the end of the 2023-2024 school year, 80% or more of Lone Peak students in grades K-3 will make typical or better progress as measured by Acadience Pathways to Progress. In addition, 80% of students in grades 4-5 students who score Basic or Below Basic will advance at least one level on the Reading Inventory by the end of the 2023-2024 school year.
- Action Plan: Principal and instructional coach will create small group flow charts and lesson plan templates. Principal and instructional coach will provide training on small group instruction in reading. Teachers will plan small group instruction to meet student needs. Instructional coach will train instructional assistants on small group instruction.
- Proposed Math Goal: By the end of the 2023-2024 school year, 80% of students at Lone Peak Elementary will make typical or better progress as measured by Acadience Pathways to Progress data.
- Action Plan: All teachers will get Basic Fact Fluency kits. All teachers will participate in Number Talks. Instructional coach will train instructional assistants on use of Basic Fact Fluency kits. Principal will purchase Reflex math to be used with specific students. Principal and instructional coach will provide PD on development of math fluency. Principal and coach will create small group flow charts and lesson plan templates. Teachers will assign students to Dreambox or Reflex (online math programs) based on student need.
- Proposed School Climate Goal: By the end of the 2023-2024 school year, office referrals at Lone Peak Elementary will decrease by 20%.
- Action Plan: Professional development will be provided by Grace Dearborn on Conscious Classroom Management. Instructional coach will provide training on morning meetings. Principal and instructional coach will provide feedback on strategies introduced in the provided PD. The school counselor will provide small groups of needed skills.
- Motion to approve and finalize the proposed Land Trust and TSSP plans (see proposed expenditures table below) by Lorie Langeland, seconded by Cinnamin Morton. Council voted for: 7, voted against: 0
- SCC signed the signature page that they participated in and approved the plans.

- Learning opportunities include: Thrive lessons taught in morning meeting, daily morning meetings, greetings and activities, Botvin (grade 4), NOVA (grade 5), PBIS, kindness ambassadors, counseling groups and counseling lessons.
