  1. Welcome: Began 3:45 p.m.
    1. Welcome and approve minutes from November
    2. Review and finalize Safe Routes Plan
    3. Discuss upcoming Land Trust Plan
  2. Approval of the minutes from October SCC meeting
    1. Motion to approve November SCC minutes by Lorie Langeland, seconded by Cinnamin Morton. Council voted for: 5, Against: 0
  3. Discuss concerns and finalize School Safety Report
    1. Tracy Stacy explained that safety report items generally have to do with the walking routes and crossings around the school. Tracy Stacy will ask the district to paint curb in front of school and put up stop signs at the exit of parent drop-off in back.
    2. Tracy Stacy will make requests to the city: flashing school zone signs near school and Wasatch Blvd. Tracy will request a 4-way stop sign at top of the hill near Wasatch Blvd. 
    3. Tracy Stacy suggested continuing to report property issues to the city. There are still concerns over clearing sidewalks of snow, tree branches, and other debris.
    4. Tracy Stacy will print and have SCC members sign before submitting it. 
    5. Motion in agreement to School Safety Report by Lorie Langeland, seconded by Cinnamin Morton. Council voted for: 5, Against: 0
  4. SCC members continue to believe the number one safety and security concern is getting a character education program in our classrooms.
    1. Tracy Stacy proposed that Lone Peak Elementary pilot the program the district put together. 
    2. A motion in agreement to pilot the district character education program by Lorie Langeland, seconded by Cinnamin Morton. Council voted for: 5, Against: 0
  5. SCC Next Meetin
    1. Next SCC meeting will be February 13, 2023.
    2. Come prepared with ideas for spending Land Trust funds.
