Dear Lone Peak Families,
We are in the process of selecting new members for the School Community Council (SCC) for the 2020-2021 school year. Participation in the SCC provides parents with opportunities to be actively involved in their children’s education and to consider community input on school issues. The SCC is comprised of Lone Peak parents and faculty, and meets monthly at 3:40 pm for approximately one hour.
The SCC provides a forum for community discussion of school-related issues. Members of the SCC review the Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP), discuss the use of School Land Trust funds, and review school safety issues. The SCC and PTA are dedicated to channeling energies into maintaining the excellence of Lone Peak and enhancing the school experience for its students.
If you are interested in becoming a member of our School Community Council, please sign and return the back of this form by Friday, August 21st . We hope to have representation from all areas of our school boundary.
