October News
A Busy Month!
October, as always is a busy month. Fundraising, Battle of the Books meetings, Halloween and more keep us hopping this month. Our annual Fun Run Fundraiser is currently in progress. Students will run laps around the field this year (weather permitting). This year I have agreed to an ice water challenge should we reach our goal of $20,000 by this Wednesday. The funds we raise help us to do all of the amazing activities we have planned throughout the year.
The schedule for the run is as follows. The run times will be approximately 45 minutes. The run will be moved to the gym if the weather is not cooperative.
Parents may watch students on the blacktop behind the school.
9:00 am – AM Kinder and All Day Kindergarten
9:50 am – 4th Grade
10:40 am – 2nd Grade
11:30am – 5th Grade
12:20pm – 3rd Grade

Thank you so much for everything you do for the school!

Weather Changes
Dress for Recess
The weather is about to change. At Lone Peak, we try to do everything we can to make sure students can go outside to play. We send students outside unless the temperature is below 22 degrees. Please remember to send students with warm clothing.
School Filter
Internet Safety at School
School district filters help us keep students safe at school when they are on a school device. These filters will stop searches of flagged content and can even notify us of certain student searches. If we find that your student has engaged in an inappropriate search at school, or while logged into their school district account at home, the filters allow us to notify you and keep you informed. Together, we can help keep students safe!
